DOOR AND WINDOW HARDWARE Due to our harsh coastal climate, doors and windows need extra care. Salt air is corrosive. And with time, it makes all doors and windows difficult to operate. When they're properly cleaned and lubricated, you can avoid expensive replacement costs.

SLIDING DOORS Rust and corrosion caused by dust and salt air can prohibit sliding doors from working properly. Whitehall technicians carefully remove sliding doors from their tracks before cleaning and lubricating them.

LIGHTING AND BULB REPLACEMENT All light bulb bases require an application of electrical grease to prevent corrosion. When untreated, bulbs can corrode in the socket, making them difficult and dangerous to remove. We have the proper tools to handle these awkward chores in hard-to-reach places.

INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR CAULKING Moisture collects in caulking, causing it to erode. When caulk starts to crack, it creates a place for insects to begin their destructive process. Periodic replacement of caulking is necessary and protects against shrinking, which occurs from the dehumidifying effect of air conditioning.

HOT WATER HEATER FLUSHING Hot water heaters need regular flushing to remove sediment. They are subject to corrosion due to extreme humidity and salt air. If not properly maintained, corrosion can destroy the coils or cause the water heater to burst and flood your home.

AIR CONDITIONING MAINTENANCE Humidity control is vital to managing the growth of mold and mildew, and to avoid deterioration of AC compressor equipment. Whitehall employs a dedicated AC company.

Despite a foot injury  incurred during practice, our President, David  Croom, decided  the show must go on. On March 12th, he took to the stage of the Waxlax Theatre  at St. Edwards School to perform the foxtrot  with professional partner, Patti Rooney. While David didn’t go home with the  coveted grand prize (that honor went to local attorney Bobby Guttridge and  partner Karren Walter), funds were raised to benefit the Healthy Start  Coalition.

You can’t stop a hurricane or severe storm, but you can be ready. Prior to the beginning of hurricane season, our existing clients’ storm shutters will have already been oiled, cleaned and checked as part of our regular maintenance and property management program. When a storm is threatening, we’ll close your shutters, move in outdoor furniture and generally prepare your property. Post-storm, we move quickly into action by inspecting your home and property, photographing any damage, arranging for insurance adjusters and managing all repair work.
